David Shinn is co-owner of SueMedia Productions and Radio Waves Studios. He is an award-winning sound designer/engineer and foley (SFX) artist for live and studio productions. Most recently he mixed the Emmy-nominated series Lucky Chow, as well as the Emmy-nominated documentary The Real Bedford Falls.

David also oversaw the interconnection of artists from home and commercial studios around the world to create ensemble performance events for the 2020 and 2021 HEAR Now Festivals, Audio Engineering Society, and Audio Publishers Association Conference.

He has mixed sound for all media, including reality television series, film, VR, AR, 360 film, audiobooks, podcasts, commercials, and more. David is currently the Technical Director for the National Audio Theatre Festivals which hosts the HEAR Now Festival. David is also a master builder of custom recording and VO studios. His work has been recognized by the Audies (9 nominations, 2 wins), The Communicator Awards, Earphone Awards, The International Radio Festival, and numerous other awards.
