I have over 30 years of experience in professional audio. Ihave worked as a sound engineer and a sound designer in various fields. Inside Yle I am known working for the radio and music production. Outside Yle I am probably best known for my work in the field of Film and TV. I have also taught music technology for six years on the side. Last five years I have spent in the field of digitizing and restoration at the Finnish broadcastig company, My current position at Yle as a mediaspecialist also requires active following and experimenting with new innovations and inventions in audio technology. I also use the shorter verrsion of my name Niko Paakkunainen.
