Jim Kaiser is an Instructor of Audio Engineering Technology at Belmont University in Nashville, TN. He serves on the AES Technical Council, the Recording Academy Producers & Engineers Wing, and the Nashville Engineer Relief Fund Board. Jim is a Past President of the International Audio Engineering Society, has served on the Board of Governors, and has been an organizer and presenter for conventions and conferences for over two decades. Kaiser was the Director of Technology at MasterMix in Nashville until 2014 and was responsible for technical operation, surround production, and audio restoration. Selected credits include Martina McBride, Kenny Chesney, Saturday Night Live, Kansas, Emmylou Harris, Steven Curtis Chapman, and the Fisk Jubilee Singers. Kaiser’s career features experience in live & studio recording with many well-known artists, and technical design of recording and production facilities, including Sony-BMG Nashville, East Iris (now House of Blues), and Clear Channel Entertainment/Live Nation.
