Mike Larson
Currently based in Miami, Larson works overtime engineering, producing, and DJ’ing. As Pharrell Williams’ personal Sound Engineer for the past decade, Mike has been molded into one of the industry’s brightest Engineers.
After traveling the world with Pharrell and N*E*R*D as a tour assistant & engineer from 2008-2010, he began branching out on his own as a solo DJ. He headlined Fluent Inc.’s SXSW party in March with co-headliners Mobb Deep in Austin, Texas, and held a stint as Pharrell’s personal DJ from 2012-2013, performing alongside Pharrell at shows in Brooklyn, Paris, Las Vegas, and Monte Carlo.
Mike continued his Engineering work with Pharrell, and he was nominated for Grammy Awards in 2014 and 2015, for a slew of projects including Daft Punk’s “Random Access Memories”, Beyonce’s self-titled album “Beyonce”, and Kendrick Lamar’s “Good Kid, MAAD City,” and “To Pimp A Butterly”. He won his first Grammy Award in 2015 for his Engineering work on the Pharrell Williams solo album G I R L., a second Grammy in 2018 for his Engineering work on Ariana Grande’s album ‘Sweetener”, and a third Grammy in 2020 for Best Engineered Album (non-classical) for his work on Beck’s album “Hyperspace”.
