Matt Yocum is a freelance Sound Designer and Re-recording mixer in Los Angeles. After graduating from Savannah College of Art and Design, Matt moved to LA where he dove into the world of sound for motion pictures and has worked in a variety of mediums from film and TV to commercials, music videos, games, and podcasts.
 
In 2021 Matt won the first-ever Ambie Award for Best Sound Design for the QCODE podcast, The Left Right Game. This podcast was unique because it was the first narrative podcast in the world to have been mixed in Dolby Atmos. In addition, his work can be heard in films such as Cloverfield Paradox, Pet Sematary, Midway, and Pokemon Detective Pikachu. Matt also worked as the sound designer and mixer on the Grammy award-winning, Old Town Road, a music video by Lil Nas X.
