Stefan Bock, born 20.08.1964 in southern Germany was starting his career in 1987 as an audio engineer. After freelancing in different facilities in Munich, he co-founded msm-studios in 1991 where he was the Chief Mastering Engineer and General Manager.

He was leading msm-studios to become one of the most highly regarded mastering facilities in Germany.

In early 1998 he was establishing msm-studios as well as a premium DVD authoring and audio-/ video-postproduction facility.

Since 2007, Stefan Bock and his team are involved in Blu-ray encoding and authoring services. Under his leadership applications like Pure Audio Blu-ray and mShuttle have been developed.

He was involved in the very early stages of immersive audio and is an expert in formats like Dolby Atmos, Auro 3D, DTS:X, MPEG-H, and Sony 360.

Since 2015 he has been involved in countless immersive audio productions as a mixing and mastering engineer as well as a producer.
